It's , and today we’re celebrating growth, community, and two new faces helping us spread the word about Pathfinder! 💚

Tennessee Disability Pathfinder is growing so much that we had to get a little help, and we are excited to introduce our 2026 Community Ambassadors: Elizabeth Johnson of East Tennessee and Susan Bryant of West Tennessee.

Elizabeth will serve as our East Tennessee Pathfinder Ambassador. She brings years of experience in public and private education across multiple states, along with firsthand insight as the mother of a child with autism. As a recent graduate of Tennessee’s Partners in Policymaking advocacy program, Elizabeth is passionate about helping individuals and families feel informed, supported, and connected.

Susan will serve as our West Tennessee Pathfinder Ambassador. She has dedicated much of her career to advocating for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and previously served as a Community Resource Specialist with The Arc Tennessee. Susan is also the mother of three children, including an adult son with Down syndrome, whom she proudly supports as he pursues employment and independent living opportunities.

As Community Ambassadors, Elizabeth and Susan will help share Pathfinder resources, participate in outreach opportunities, and connect more individuals, families, and professionals to free disability information and referral services across Tennessee.
We are big fans of the communities we serve — and we are so excited to have Elizabeth and Susan helping us reach even more of them.
