๐ŸŒŽโœˆ๏ธ Passport Club Family Engagement Night was a huge success! โœˆ๏ธ๐ŸŒŽ

Our students were so excited to share their work and show their families all of the countries they โ€œtraveledโ€ to and learned about throughout the year! It was incredible to see their pride as they showcased projects, artwork, and memories from their journey around the world.

This year, our Passport Club explored countries including France, Brazil, Egypt and much more, learning about each countryโ€™s culture, traditions, geography, food, and history along the way.

Families were amazed by how many countries our students visited and by the amount of learning, creativity, and hard work that went into every project. In addition to exploring student displays, families enjoyed making bracelets inspired by the colors of different national flags, completing 21st Century-themed coloring puzzles, and coloring pages featuring countries from around the world.

A big thank you to our students, staff, and families for making this event so special. We loved celebrating a year of curiosity, learning, and global exploration together! ๐ŸŒโค๏ธ

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ This week, as we prepared for Memorial Day, our Kindergarten and 1st grade students made liberty crowns and star wands! โญ๐Ÿ‘‘

After finishing their creations, students proudly said the Pledge of Allegiance and waved their star wands with excitement. We are thankful for those who have served our country and remember the sacrifices made by so many. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

๐ŸŒโœˆ๏ธ Today our Passport Club visited Japan! ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต

Students learned about Japanese culture and geography through fun hands-on activities. We sampled 4 different Pocky flavors ๐Ÿซ and voted for our favorite โ€” Original Chocolate won in the final round!

Students also made Japanese Carp Streamers ๐ŸŽ for Childrenโ€™s Day, painted watercolor scenes of Mount Fuji and traditional Japanese landscapes, and created origami cats and dogs ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿถ.

To end the day, students wrote postcards to friends and family sharing all about their โ€œtripโ€ to Japan! ๐Ÿ’Œ We had a great time learning and exploring together! ๐ŸŒธ

Our 4th and 5th grade students had been working hard preparing for the track meet that was originally scheduled for last week. Unfortunately, the rainy weather forced the event to be cancelled โ€” but we didnโ€™t let all of that hard work and excitement go to waste! โ˜”๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

One of our 21st Century programs stepped in and hosted our very own track meet for ALL grade levels! Students got their bodies moving through sprint races, long jump, โ€œjavelinโ€ tosses using pool noodles, relay activities, and so many other fun challenges throughout the day. The energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship were amazing to see!

We are so proud of our students for staying active, trying new things, and embracing healthy lifestyles while having fun togethe

Today in our Passport Club, our students took a trip to Australia! ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿฆ˜

The kids were shocked to learn just how many poisonous animals live there ๐Ÿ•ท๏ธ๐Ÿ and were amazed that the entire continent is actually one country! After learning about Australiaโ€™s culture, animals, and geography, students got to try Tim Tams (Australian cookies) ๐Ÿช before diving into some fun activities.

They created platypus puppets, colorful dot art, and their very own boomerangs! ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿชƒ It was a great day full of creativity, learning, and lots of fun! ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ
