✨𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐲, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞✨

This green-rated, downhill-only gravity trail is built to be welcoming, approachable, and fluid smooth. Expect sweeping forest turns, playful rollers, and effortless momentum from top to bottom.

No pressure. No big obstacles. Just pure fun.

Whether you're looking for a weightless descent through the forest or building confidence on the bike, trust Firefly to light up your ride.

Better yet, 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞. Shared adventure = Stronger community. We all ride at Hickory Ridge.

Our recommendation? Navigate to Hub 4 -> Ride Barred Owl to Hub 3 -> Catch Firefly down. It might just be the best green descent in the Finger Lakes.

A huge thank you to:
🫵 You for your patience while this trail was closed and under construction
🌿 The Nature Conservancy in New York for investing in nature, recreation, and community at Hickory Ridge
🛠️ Further Trail Services for crafting an exceptional trail experience
🚵‍♀️ GROC Genesee Regional Off-Road Cyclists for community support and trail stewardship expertise

🚧 Big Trail News from Hickory Ridge! 🚧

Trail crews are on the ground building a new addition to the Hickory Ridge trail system—a green-rated, beginner-friendly, downhill-only mountain bike trail designed to be fun, welcoming, and accessible for riders of all abilities, including adaptive mountain bikers. 🚵🌲

As construction moves forward, please respect all temporary trail closure signs and stay out of closed work areas. These closures help keep everyone safe and allow the team at Further Trail Services to create the best riding experience possible. Trust us—this one will be worth the wait!🙌

A special thank you to The Nature Conservancy for their continued investment in Hickory Ridge. Through their leadership and stewardship of these publicly accessible conservation lands, TNC is helping expand access to outdoor recreation and creating more opportunities for people to connect with nature. 🙏💚

We love seeing so many people enjoying the trails at Hickory Ridge. Your gratitude and enthusiasm inspire us. See you out there! 🏞 ‍💚
