I have great news this morning!πŸ₯³

The cats had a full check up yesterday, they were all triple negative on their snap tests AND ....we will be taking them to their new home Saturday!!

I am confident they found their fur-ever home. They will have new cat siblings and best of all, they get to stay together!! ❀️ They will have an amazing large catio, to get fresh air and lots of love. I am still amazed the wonderful outcome for them, the fact they are all going to a loving home TOGETHER makes me soooo happy.

Thank you to everyone who shared and reached out about the cats
Most of all - THANK YOU to Lori and Gary Piatkowski for opening your hearts and home to these three babies and seeing that fur family should remain together! 🫢 See you both Saturday!

UPDATE: HOME HAS BEEN FOUND FOR THE CATS AND THEY WILL REMAIN TOGETHER!! 6/23/26

Is there anyone willing to help these cats? πŸ’”πŸ™

* White Cat - Niko - Male - 2 years old - Neutered
* Orange Cat - Stormi - Female - 1.5 years old - Spayed
* Grey Cat - Sage - Female - 1.5 years old - Spayed

All are very sweet cats, get along with dogs and other cats. I'm vested in these babies as I helped with vet care - getting them fixed etc. Stormi and Sage are siblings, were abandoned as kittens in an empty house, Niko was also abandoned on the north side as a kitten.
Time is running out, owner leaving for Fla. end of month. I have been so stressed for them, I don't want them to wind up in the same situation because there was no place for them to go - no home to be found.
I have reached out to some rescues, posted in a group page for awhile. Some rescues declined due to space (which I understand!) and others are full but taking kittens only. I am still waiting for a response from one rescue so...... 🀞.

I cannot take them and put them in my emergency enclosure ( only one I have open which is a large dog crate) with no plan for any of them. I have far to many cats already! ☹️
IF a rescue can help...... is there anyone that would consider becoming a approved foster for a rescue? MAYBE one would step in with a place to temporarily house the cats? I don't have the answers, I do know they all need more fosters though.

I am willing to provide additional vetting if necessary, transport wherever they need to go, even a distance if will get them a committed home.

If you can help one or all let me know.
Thanks everyone.

If you have any old towels that you're not using, AAP is in need for Jemma. TY!

If you have any old towels that you're not using, AAP is in need for Jemma. TY!

We have an update on our sweet Jemma!

Our amazing vets saw her last week and we got both answers and more questions:

β™‘ At 3.5lbs, she is NOT a kitten, but an 8-10 year old cat
β™‘ Her bloodwork results confirm she has hyperthyroidism
β™‘ She has a horrible case of diarrhea that hasn't cleared up yet

Hyperthyroidism causes her metabolism to run really high. In Jemma's case, this explains why she's so skinny. She needs to eat a very high calorie/high protein diet just to maintain her weight. Clearly, that wasn't happening when she was outside. Poor, poor girl.

We started her on medication to help regulate her hyperthyroidism, but we won't see any significant results for a few weeks.

In the meantime, she is being fed the food our amazing supporters sent from her wishlist 4 times a day.

Now the diarrhea is a whole different situation. We're trying to figure out if it's due to stress, food changes, IBD, B12 deficiency, or something else. Right now, we're going to give her a bit of time on a steady diet with probiotics to help her gut. If her diarrhea doesn't improve, we'll take her back to our vet for additional testing.

She has a long journey ahead and we're here to try what we can to turn things around for her.

Please send all the good thoughts and vibes Jemma's way. We're hoping she can get healthy and find a loving home where people will treat her right. Hyperthyroidism can be cured with proper care and we've started that journey with her.

As you can imagine, we are going through lots of towels and small blankets in her crate. She does have a litterbox but she doesn't always make it there.

If anyone has extra towels or small throws/blankets they don't need, we could use them for Jemma asap. Message us for an address if you have anything we can use in her crate.

Thank you all so much for donating off Jemma's Amazon wishlist. We are very grateful for your support, which allows us to do what we do.

I was going to post this happy update in the morning, but after receiving text and messages asking if Scarlet found a home, I thought I best do it now!
YES SHE DID!πŸ₯³
😻Scarlet went home with her people this evening, Melissa and John!πŸˆβ€β¬›You cant really see her but she's in there!
She was shy during the meet but Melissa totally understood that this little girl has been through a lot this past week and will give her all the time she needs. πŸ’›
That's her hut folded up under John's arm. She loved to retreat to it when she felt scared and we agreed it would be nice for her to have something that made her feel safe, (with her scent) to help her adjust to all the changes.
She will have siblings and lot's of love! ❀️
Her name will remain Scarlet. ❀️
Thank you Melissa and John for giving Scarlet this new chance in life, I know that no cat will replace your sweet Savanna, (or should she) but this baby house panther will bring her own joy to your lives. 😻
Thanks to all that shared and helped Scarlet find her way home. πŸ™‚

Good night from little Scarlet! πŸ˜»πŸŒ›
You can hear her motor running!
She's excited for her big day, she has a meet and greet tomorrow evening! ❀️

06/12/2026

Hello from Scarlet!
I have not found a home for her. 😒

It is hard to get a video of her because she wants to be up close and personal. Somebody has to love this baby house panther!!!

06/09/2026

Saturday and Sunday we drove to different locations to return the TNR'd cats from the last run.

I held this little girl back to see if by some miracle I could find her a home, or a rescue willing to take her in during this busy time. Needless to say it's be a rough go these past 4 weeks, and I could really use a win right now! A win for her!

If you are looking for a baby house panther that is obnoxiously friendly & super cute. Here she is!! ❀️
I do not want to hold her too long if she is going to be returned, so please, lets find a home for her. πŸ™ She is 4 to 6 months old.

πŸˆβ€β¬›Lets call her Scarlet!
πŸˆβ€β¬›Lets find a home for Scarlet!

πŸ’”πŸ’” Sorry to bring such sad news this morning.πŸ’” πŸ’”
πŸ’” πŸ’” Fianna crossed the Rainbow Bridge.πŸ’” πŸ’”

Fianna suffered two significant seizures and passed on my lap. She deserved better. She was loved. I hope she felt that during the short time I cared for her. I am heartbroken. 😿
