Water Discoloration Notice:

Please be advised that temporary water discoloration may occur due to scheduled maintenance on the Mni Wiconi core pipeline. The discoloration is caused by the disturbance of natural sediment within the water mains during maintenance activities. While the water is still safe for household use, residents are advised to use discretion when drinking, cooking, or doing laundry until the water runs clear. If discoloration is observed, please contact the WR/LJ office at 605-669-2931, and our field staff will flush the pipelines where discoloration is occurring. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation and patience during this essential maintenance.

Scholarships available! WR/LJ Rural Water will award four $750 scholarships. To apply, you must complete a scholarship application, which can be obtained from your local high school, at the WR/LJ Rural Water office in Murdo, or on our website at www.wrlj.com. The deadline is February 15, 2026.

Please join us for the 36th Annual Meeting on Wednesday, October 15th. It will be held in Murdo at our shop on Main Street. Registration will be from 4:00 to 4:30 CT followed by a brief business meeting. Appetizers and refreshments will be served and each registered member will receive a $10 water credit.
Door prizes will be held at the end of the meeting.
