Earlier today, District 8 Fire Rescue responded to assist Frankston Fire Department with a structure fire involving a gas station in Frankston, Texas, located in Anderson County.
Upon arrival, crews were met with heavy fire conditions and rapidly evolving hazards due to the presence of fuel and other flammable materials commonly found at gas station facilities. Firefighters worked aggressively to contain the blaze, protect nearby structures, and prevent further escalation that could have posed a significant threat to the surrounding community.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of all responding agencies, crews were able to bring the situation under control and minimize further damage. Incidents involving commercial structures—especially those with fuel sources—require quick action, strong communication, and a high level of situational awareness, all of which were demonstrated on scene today.
We would like to thank Frankston Fire Department and all assisting agencies for their teamwork and dedication. As always, we remain committed to serving our community and supporting our neighboring departments whenever needed.
