Audition notice! Once again, the Mundelein Arts Commission and Kirk Players join forces to present the original musical version of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, and are seeking singers and actors to bring it to life!

Auditions will take place on Monday, November 9th and Tuesday, November 12th from 7-9 PM at St. Andrew Lutheran Church (10 S. Lake Street). Performances will take place December 12th and 13th.

This year’s production will be a concert reading of the show, and director Joyce Lee is seeking 4 men and 4 women, plus 1-4 children. Come prepared to cold read and sing a song acapella.

A Christmas Carol: The Musical, is the work of local author Joyce Becker Lee, and closely follows the original Dickens story, but is infused with bright, memorable songs by the author that enhance the experience.
Accompanist for the show will once again be popular local musician Kai Funihashi, who performs with the College of Lake County Jazz Ensembles as well as the band The Saratogas.

Registration for auditions is encouraged, but drop-ins are definitely welcome. To register for auditions or for further information or, email [email protected] or call 702-324-3959.
