Multnomah County Cultural Coalition The Multnomah County Cultural Coalition works to build participation in the arts, humanities, and heritage through programming, outreach, and grantmaking.

The Multnomah County Cultural Coalition’s mission is to foster a community that is rich in cultural offerings, increasing the likelihood of cultural participation among the broadest possible spectrum of county residents. We are supported by the Oregon Cultural Trust, which supports over 1,200 arts, heritage, and humanities organizations across Oregon. Our work aims to enhance arts education and cu

ltural awareness among youth, make culture accessible and affordable to Multnomah County residents, support and encourage new and diverse cultural activities and organizations, achieve the plan’s priorities by re-granting funds from the Oregon Cultural Trust, and advocate and promote public awareness of the Oregon Cultural Trust and the Multnomah County Cultural Coalition.

The Multnomah County Cultural Coalition (MCCC) is delighted to announce the funding recipients for the 2026 Community Cultural Participation (CCP) grant.

For 2026, the MCCC set a new goal of elevating small organizations in its funding decisions with an emphasis on those with annual operating budgets below $500,000 and $100,000. Due to these efforts, the board is proud to report the following.

In 2026, the Multnomah County Cultural Coalition:

* Received 146 applications for funding, representing $438,000 in requested need.
* Funded 55 organizations, three more than in 2025.
* Out of those 55 organizations, 51 had a 2025 operating budget below $500,000, and 30 had an operating budget below $100,000.
* Disciplines represented spanned the performing arts, cultural heritage, visual art, literary arts, community events, media arts, the humanities, and others.

Receive up to $3,000 for your approved project in Multnomah County!

New for 2026: The MCCC prioritizes SMALL organizations (operating budgets under $500k and under $100k) in its grantmaking. Organizations of all sizes may apply.

Also: Join our board! Deepen your own practice, learn about our cultural communities, and give back to Multnomah County, all while stewarding Oregon Cultural Trust funds for our region.
