Child & Family Resources Inc CFR is a nonprofit that provides childcare subsidies to families in Morris County, NJ & training to childcare providers.

Child & Family Resources (CFR) focuses on children. We create and implement programs and services that support the development of children and their families by engaging and partnering with the community in their efforts to enhance the lives of children. For more then 37 years we have brought hope to families working toward the American Dream. Helping them find safe and dependable child care. Assi

sting them financially by helping parents pay for quality child care. Helping them obtain enough diapers to provide a healthy diaper change. Providing the opportunity to better their parenting skills for the good of the entire family. We offer hope to educators by providing critical professional development and work toward the creation of a system of quality early care and education for our youngest citizens. There is considerable work remaining in our efforts to support the successful growth and development of our children. Our vision is a communal state which shares the burden of early care and education with the families. An investment in children’s early learning pays dividends for their future. An investment in a child’s future is an investment in a better tomorrow.

Give your Girl Scouts the confidence and skills they need to become responsible, prepared, and capable babysitters.
Child & Family Resources, in partnership with the American Red Cross, offers custom Babysitter Training for Girl Scout troops. Troops can schedule a private class to complete many of the requirements for the Girl Scout Babysitter Badge while learning valuable life skills.

📢 Important Changes Coming to NJ FamilyCare (Medicaid)

New federal changes may affect some NJ FamilyCare members beginning October 1, 2026, with additional changes coming January 1, 2027. Not everyone will be affected, but it’s important to understand what may be changing and respond to any notices you receive.

Here’s what you should do:
📬 Keep your mailing address up to date
✉️ Open every letter you receive from NJ FamilyCare
📝 Complete renewal forms promptly
📱 Respond right away if additional information is requested
🔄 Report changes in your situation as soon as possible

Most importantly, don’t assume you’ve lost your health coverage. Everyone’s situation is different. Continue to apply, renew your coverage, and respond to all notices from NJ FamilyCare.
