HOW is Polly still waiting for her forever home?! 🥺

Polly is a 7-month-old Chocolate Lab mix weighing about 25 pounds. As you can see, she’s very skinny and desperately needs to get out of the adoption center so she can relax, decompress, and finally feel safe. Even a foster home would make such a difference for her!

We brought Polly home for a very specific reason: she was one of the sweetest dogs we trapped, and we simply couldn’t leave her behind.

Polly is wonderful with other dogs (she especially LOVES puppies 🐶), people, and kids. She already walks beautifully on a leash and has such a fun-loving, affectionate personality. She’s the kind of dog who will fit right into a family and bring so much joy to her future home!

🐾 Thank you to the 3rd graders at Arthur Stanlick Elementary School in Jefferson for supporting our rescue through their Trash-A-Mania fundraiser for the second year in a row!

Today, our volunteer Beth and her husband visited the school to accept a donation of $565 raised by the students! The funds will help us continue providing care for the dogs in our rescue.

The students also enjoyed some time playing with puppies during the visit! ✨

We appreciate the hard work of the students and the support of the teachers, staff, and families who helped make this event a success! Thank you for thinking of our rescue again this year and for making a difference for dogs in need.
