🐶🥳 Happy National Dog Day from the Satos who are still waiting for their person 🐾💛

Alder, Roger, Juniper, Willow, and Dolly are growing up fast and are more than ready to trade shelter life for couch naps, belly rubs, and a family of their own.

And please don’t overlook our sweet seniors, Benjie and Ruby. At 14 and 13 years young, they deserve comfort, care, and the chance to feel their very best while they wait for their forever homes. We are fundraising to help cover the medical attention they need, and every donation, share, and kind word makes a real difference.

❤️‍🩹Medical Funds Needed❤️‍🩹

Ruby and Benji have spent their entire lives together.
Ruby is a 13-year-old Golden Retriever mix, and Benji is a 14-year-old Chihuahua mix. They were loved for many years in Puerto Rico, but when their owners became ill and could no longer care for them, this bonded senior pair lost the only home they had ever known.
They made the journey from Puerto Rico to New Jersey separately, scared and confused, not knowing where the other one was. Thankfully, they are now reunited in a foster home and taking comfort in the one thing that has always been constant: each other.
Now we need to give them the medical care they deserve.
Both Ruby and Benji need blood work. Benji is in urgent need of a dental, and Ruby needs a mass removed. These are senior dogs who have already been through so much, and we want to make sure they are comfortable, cared for, and ready for the peaceful next chapter they deserve.
They have already lost their home, their routine, and the people they loved. We do not want medical costs to stand in the way of giving them the care they need.
Please consider donating toward Ruby and Benji’s medical care. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us get them one step closer to feeling better and finding the soft landing they deserve.

All of Dolly’s siblings have found their forever homes.. she’s wondering when she’ll find hers? 💔

Dolly has watched her brothers and sisters leave one by one, each heading off to the families they’ve been waiting for. And while she’s so happy for them, we can’t help but wonder if she quietly wonders.. “When will it be my turn?” 🥺

Dolly is still waiting for someone to see her, choose her, and promise her that she’s finally home. ❤️

She doesn’t need a perfect family. She just needs a family who will love her, be patient with her, and never give up on her.

💙UPDATE💙 Our sweet boy Benji has found a foster with his sister Ruby. Yes, Benji has a best friend, Ruby, who he has spent his whole life with. Benji (14 year old Chihuahua mix) and Ruby (13 year old Golden Retriever mix) have been displaced from their home in Puerto Rico due to some very sad circumstances. They are now in NJ searching for their FUR-Ever homes. They are both very sweet, loving pups. They get along with other dogs and children.
