We had a great time working and assisting with the JROTC County Cup this week! Cadets from South Stokes, East Surry, Surry Central, and North Surry had a great time competing in Archery, Boating, Compass, and more!

If you know of a local JROTC group that would love to spend a day at CRK, send them our way!

We had a great time hosting the Meadowview Magnet Middle Outdoor Club, who enjoyed a fun afternoon of climbing and archery!

We have had an EPIC start to our Spring season the past few weeks! We had a great time hosting Fair Grove Elementary, who enjoyed a fun day of geology, building terrariums, and working on team work on our low ropes course.

There’s nothing like working together, building teamwork, and taking a turn at captaining the ship. Groups who jump into a water session get the chance to coach, be coached, and step into leadership roles along the way.

The number one goal? Stay upright. Don’t tip over. 😄🚣‍♂️

EPIC is designed to strengthen the courage with the youth it serves by expanding into the unknowns. One of those options is Archery!

Participants will have the chance to learn the safety and skills of archery under the guidance of certified instructors. Our goal is to take you from beginner to eagle eye in one session, while working on hand-eye coordination and goal setting!

EPIC brings hands-on, experiential learning to life, giving young people the opportunity to grow, explore, and build skills that strengthen themselves, their peers, and their communities. Rooted in Camp Raven K**b’s long-standing tradition of exceptional outdoor programs, EPIC continues our commitment to growth, teamwork, curriculum support, and a lasting connection to the outdoors.
