Last week, Samaritan Foundation was presented with a $120,000 check from Graham Construction Management to support the launch of the Foundation's WSU School of Medicine Residency Program campaign. Since 2020, Graham has been a strong supporter of our mission, campaigns, and events, bringing their total contributions to $184,800!
In partnership with the Washington State University Foundation, the Samaritan Foundation recently launched a $4 million campaign to support the construction and development of the Samaritan Family Medicine Residency Center. This clinic will provide both a fully functional patient care space and a dedicated learning environment for up to 18 resident physicians. Earlier this spring, Samaritan received $2 million from the federal funding bill passed in Congress, led by the efforts of Senator Maria Cantwell.
The Samaritan Foundation and WSU Foundation will be responsible for raising approximately $2 million dollars each to help fund the Residency Center project which will cost approximately $10 million to complete.
Thank you, Graham, for your generosity and support of the Samaritan Foundation. We are grateful for your partnership! Together, we are investing in the future of regional healthcare—training, supporting, and inspiring the next generation of physicians to serve and stay in the communities that need them most.
