The Spivey Hall Tour Choir was honored to open the Georgia ACDA Conference as the featured opening choir!

What a joy to share our music with so many incredible choral educators and musicians. We’re grateful for the opportunity to represent Spivey Hall and celebrate the power of singing together.

Congratulations to our Spivey Hall Children’s Choir singers who represented us in the Georgia ACDA Treble Honor Choir!

We’re proud of Laura Gray, Carina Ashby, and Teightum McKinney for this wonderful accomplishment. A special thank-you to Mrs. Kinney, who also served as the choir’s accompanist. We’re so proud of you all!

We are so proud of our Children’s Choir members Andrea Van Eps and Katlynn Kearse!

Andrea and Katlynn recently participated in the Henry County Marching Band Exhibition at Woodland High School. Katlynn is the drum major for Luella High School and also plays trombone, while Andrea plays clarinet for Hampton High School.

Hampton High School has been selected as one of the top 10 bands in the Great Atlanta Band Challenge!

Congratulations, Andrea and Katlynn! We love seeing our choir members shine both on and off the stage. ✨

🤩 A special visit from a very special part of our history!

Dr. Martha Shaw, founding director of the Spivey Hall Children’s Choir, joined us for rehearsal as a guest conductor. It was wonderful to welcome Dr. Shaw back to the choir she helped build and inspire!

Parent Night at choir rehearsal was a wonderful evening of music and community! Our parents joined their singers in rehearsal, then enjoyed some time catching up and getting to know one another.

We love having our choir families together. 😊

It was Braves Night at choir rehearsal! Our singers traded concert attire for a little team spirit as we brought some Atlanta Braves fun into the rehearsal room. Let’s go, Braves! ⚾️

What a treat for our Young Artists! We were thrilled to welcome Mrs. Katie Hurley, a talented music educator (and the wife of our Artistic Director, Dr. Craig Hurley), as a guest conductor. Our singers had the opportunity to learn from Mrs. Hurley’s musical expertise, artistry, and love of choral music.

We are so grateful she shared her talents with us. 😁
