This year’s cohort was truly exceptional—the best to date—and well deserving of recognition. From inspiring reflections to scholarships awarded and heartfelt moments with families, the ceremony highlighted the collective effort it takes to develop future leaders.

We extend sincere gratitude to our dedicated mentors, supportive parents, and community partners who made this journey possible. Together, we continue to uplift and empower the next generation.

Our father, Paul J. Frugé, is finally at peace. He went to be with the Lord and was reunited with our mom on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Please join us as we celebrate his remarkable life and legacy on Tuesday, April 28, before we lay him to rest on Wednesday, April 29.

Thank you all for the outpouring of love, support, and unity during this time as we honored the life of our Brother Theodore “Ted” Jeans. Your words, presence, and shared memories have been a powerful reminder of the strength of our bond and the true meaning of brotherhood.

Brother Jeans' legacy of kindness, mentorship, and unwavering dedication lives on through each of us. In coming together, supporting one another, and celebrating his life, we reflect the very values he embodied so effortlessly. Let us continue to uplift and carry the legacy of brotherly love. As the bible says in Hebrews 13:1 "Let brotherly love continue."

Brother Theodore “Ted” Jeans entered the Chapter Eternal leaving behind a legacy of brotherhood, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those around him. Ted was more than a fraternity brother—he was a true friend, mentor, and source of encouragement whose presence strengthened the bonds of our brotherhood. His laughter, wisdom, and generous spirit will always be remembered by those who had the honor of knowing him.

Funeral services honoring the life of Brother Theodore “Ted” Jeans will be held Saturday, March 14 at New Beginning Full Gospel Baptist Church - 923 Valley Brook Rd., Decatur, GA 30033. 

Omega Service - 10:00am - we ask all brothers participating to wear Alpha attire and arrive at 9:30am in preparation for service to start on time.

The Pi Gamma Lambda Chapter honors and celebrates the life of our beloved Brother, Theodore “Ted” Jeans. 🕊️🕊️

Brother Ted Jeans was initiated through the Mu Iota Chapter at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, on May 28, 1976. He and his line brothers, Genesis 15, were the charter line.

Brother Jeans later joined the Pi Gamma Lambda Chapter, where he faithfully served in several capacities, including Treasurer, Financial Secretary, Brother-at-Large, and Chairperson of the Alpha Mentoring Academy. Throughout his years of service, Brother Jeans’ dedication to Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the Pi Gamma Lambda Chapter was both meaningful and inspiring. He consistently exemplified what it means to be an Alpha man.

Brother Jeans was an encourager to many, an example of love, and a beacon of light to all who knew him. His presence, leadership, and commitment strengthened our Brotherhood and touched countless lives.

We salute you, Brother Jeans, for your unwavering commitment to our Brotherhood. We will forever be grateful for the life and legacy you leave behind. 🤙🏿
