George N**o Returns as Camp Director for 2027

Rainbow Council is pleased to announce that George N**o will return as Camp Director for the 2027 summer camp season at the Rainbow Council Scout Reservation. This will be his second year leading our summer camp program and a milestone year for the Reservation as we celebrate our 60th anniversary.

George stepped into the Camp Director role for the 2026 season after previously serving in Handicraft, Aquatics, Range and Target Sports, and the Kitchen. This broad experience gives him a deep understanding of nearly every aspect of camp operations, making him an exceptionally effective Camp Director. He quickly earned the trust of our staff, unit leaders, and Scouts. Under his leadership, camp ran smoothly and safely, and feedback from visiting units was overwhelmingly positive. We are grateful he has chosen to return and build on that strong foundation.

In the months ahead, George will work closely with council staff and the camp committee on program planning, staff recruitment, and facility preparation. Scouts and leaders can expect a mix of familiar favorites and exciting new program offerings, including opportunities made possible through new partnerships with outside organizations.

Mark your calendars:
Session One: June 13–19, 2027
Session Two: June 20–26, 2027
Please join me in congratulating George on beginning his second year as Camp Director at RSR.
