Let Freedom Sing! Are you interested in the chance to sing the National Anthem at the Illinois State Fair or the DuQuoin State Fair? Auditions are accepted through July 1st at go.illinois.edu/NationalAnthem. We can't wait to hear all the wonderful talent at this year's State Fairs. Good luck!

Illinois State Fair Junior Horse Show entries are due July 1, but it's never too early to get them in! Entries must be made in ShoWorks via the Illinois State Fair page by July 1. Photos and ownership forms must be emailed directly to the state fair at [email protected].

Junior Horse Show exhibitors must be a 4-H or FFA member in order to participate. Good luck at this year's show!

FairEntry deadlines are fast approaching. Don't forget to make your entries! KANKAKEE COUNTY entries are due June 1st and GRUNDY COUNTY entries are due July 1st! We can't wait to see this year's projects our members have spent so much time preparing!

🍀Who likes to fish? 🎣 This is a great opportunity for 4-H members.

Do you have family members that love fishing or would like to get into the sport? Would you like to have a fun family weekend where those who wanted to fish can while other family members can do other activities, all on the same property? If so, we have a great program for your family with our 4-H Reel Adventure Family Fishing Camp!
Date: May 1 -3
Age: At least one participant per family must be 4-H age (5-18 years old)
Location: 4-H Memorial Camp in Monticello
Time: Check-in starts 4pm May 1 and check-out is noon on May 3

🍀⏰Time to select a winning cover for the 2026 4-H Fair Book! We are looking for help from the public in choosing a winner. The following 17 pictures are the entries for the contest. Contestants are Cloverbuds and 4-H members ages 5-18. The drawings did not have to be in color, as it will be printed in black and white. Drawings had to include “Grundy County 4-H Fair” and the date of this year’s fair, “July 25-27, 2026”. Contestants’ names have been removed. Please vote by “Liking” the photo on this page.
