We attended National Night Out in Galeton, PA last evening. All the dogs had a grand time greeting the public. 🐾

Today Pennsylvania lost a special search dog. K9 Bentley served the state for over 9 years and deployed on numerous search missions. He won the Wodan Animal Hero Award in 2021 for his role in locating and saving the life of a missing individual. It was an honor to have worked with him.

Sending our condolences to his handler Tracy and team Northeast Search & Rescue.

Louise and K9 Hank & Jordan and K9 Havoc went back to school today to read to the kids about search and rescue dogs.

NORTHERN TIER SEARCH & RESCUE – “READ ACROSS AMERICA”

Northern Tier Search & Rescue spent Monday 3/2/26 reading to Galeton School District Students to kick off "Read Across America". Local Galeton resident Louise Sztenderowicz with K9 Hank and Jordan Leete with K9 havoc from Coudersport are a part of the Northern Tier Search and Rescue team based out of Morris, PA. Lousie was glad to read a book about all types of working dogs, while Jordan led Hand and Havoc to greet the kids with paws....
