Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer. It's a day of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance for those who gave their lives in defense of the freedoms we enjoy every day.

VFW Watnong Post 3401 proudly honors our fallen heroes and their families, whose sacrifices will never be forgotten. As a community, may we take a moment today to remember their courage, their service, and the true meaning of Memorial Day.

BELOVED POST MEMBER CELEBRATES HIS 95TH BIRTHDAY!!
A Wonderful Surprise 95th Birthday Party Celebration was held at Our Post on June 28th for our Beloved Member, Fatty Little!!
Fatty was surrounded by Family and Friends, some traveling from across the country, to share in his Birthday Celebration!!
Fatty( a cherished nickname), is a Korean War Veteran who has helped Our Post in so many ways throughout the years. He always has a smile and a funny story to tell which has endeared us all to him!!

VFW POST 3401 DONATION PRESENTATION!!
At our June 18th Post Meeting we presented a donation to Welcome Home Vets of New Jersey. Accepting the donation were WHVNJ Officers Gene Elwood and Robert McDonnell, presented by Commander Basil D'Armiento and Golf Chairman Jim Auriemma.
Our Annual Post Golf Outing dedicates proceeds from the event to WHVNJ and Community Hope as part of our mission to assist Veterans and Their Families.
We Thank these organizations who Provide Care for Our New Jersey Soldiers, Veterans and Their Families in Need!!
