ONE WEEK FROM TODAY. 🌈

Six years ago, Boonton Rainbow Pride was an idea. A hope. A small group of people who believed this community deserved a celebration.

This Saturday, we take over Grace Lord Park. πŸ’œ

And this year β€” after everything β€” it means more than ever.

FREE. Rain or shine. Open to everyone. Always.

June 20, 2026 | 12–4 PM | Grace Lord Park, Boonton

Today marks the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia & Biphobia β€” a global call to uphold dignity, equality, and human rights for all. πŸ’›

First observed in 2004, this day honors the 1990 decision to remove homosexuality from the list of mental disorders β€” and reminds us how far we’ve come, and how far we still have to go.

At its core, this day is about humanity. About recognizing that every person deserves to live freely, safely, and authentically.

Dr. Maya Angelou once said: β€œWe are more alike, my friends, than we are unalike.”

Let that truth guide us β€” toward compassion, understanding, and respect for one another. πŸ’›

Maybe someday in Denville we can achieve this too…..

Maybe someday in Denville we can achieve this too…..

WIN: The Board of Education has withdrawn its proposal to effectively ban Pride, religious, and heritage celebration messages from district digital signage. This win is the direct result of the immense effort of local organizers who sprung into action to respond to this proposed policy.

To everyone who spoke out, signed the petition, and were ready to show up at the next school board meeting: much like a sign allows a school to show it values all of its students, you showed the young people of Montville that you value all of them.
