As our IECF Youth Grantmakers Fund grant cycle comes to a close, we’re proud to celebrate Isabella Carballo and Camila Gomez as youth leadership stipend recipients!

Each was recognized for their dedicated service and excellence as a PSL Street Outreach Prep Servant Leader, showing up consistently at our lunch assemblies for the unhoused community in Moreno Valley.

Awarded to support their continued education, this stipend honors the commitment they bring to the work.

A heartfelt thank you to the IECF Youth Grantmakers for making this possible!

We also want to thank every Interact Club student from Moreno Valley, Vista Del Lago, Valley View, Canyon Springs, and Rancho Verde High Schools, along with Interact Advisor, Charles James, for your continued service in encouraging student engagement within our Street Outreach Prep program.

Closing out one grant cycle doesn’t mean the need stops. It means we’re ready to keep pouring into the next generation of leaders. If this work moves you, there’s still room to be part of it.

Consistency of Care. Swipe for upcoming PSL Programs as we continue showing up for our Moreno Valley community!

Starting tomorrow, Thursday, June 11th! Our Free Food Drive-Thru serves the Inland Empire every 2nd and 4th Thursday at 10:30 AM at the Moreno Valley Mall parking lot entrance on Heritage Way & Town Circle.

📍 Address:22550 Town Cir, Moreno Valley, CA 92553(Near the Crunch Fitness entrance)

Important details:

➡️ Early arrival is encouraged
➡️ Check-in upon arrival
➡️ No pre-registration required
➡️ Food boxes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last
➡️ Walk-ups are prohibited as it is a Free Food Drive-Thru

Street Outreach Prep takes place on the Fridays following each 2nd and 4th Thursday to prepare for our Street Outreach Distribution on Saturday.

Student spots are reserved for Interact Clubs and Youth Advisory Council District 5, but community members are welcome to sign up to volunteer for our next Free Food Drive-Thru.

PSL Evolve (Health & Wellness division) Walk/Run Club is every 1st & 3rd Saturday at 7:30am located at the Celebration Park, Moreno Valley. All pace levels are welcome!

Despite low food volume this week, we showed up anyway. It became one of the most unexpectedly powerful outreaches we’ve ever had!

5 Victory Opportunities from yesterday:

1. Deeper conversations with community members who aren’t online and needed to hear from us directly. One neighbor stayed for over 2 hours to talk and share her heart.

2. Prayer requests were shared more than usual because we had more time to listen.

3. Early birds didn’t leave empty-handed. Sandwiches and snacks came through.

4. Our team bonded in a way a normal drive-thru doesn’t always allow.

5. We learned how to say “Who Cares? We Do!” in Spanish, straight from our community. And we’re saying it LOUD on June 11th!

We’ve served through rain, wind, storms, and uncertainty since 2020. Quitting just because things get hard has never been an option.

“Power Loud Ministry”. 1 of 15,534 interactions. There’s always a beautiful moment of laughter and ministry during Street Outreach. Many people assume the people we meet need a word, but sometimes they minister to us.

🚨REMINDER 🚨NO Free Food Drive-Thru tomorrow as our schedule is every 2nd & 4th Thursday (tomorrow is the 1st Thursday of the month).

We are back NEXT THURSDAY, May 14th at 10:30am located at the parking lot entrance at Heritage Way and Town Cir. Address: 22550 Town Cir, Moreno Valley, CA 92553.

What an incredible evening at the Interact End-of-year Banquet! We are so proud of every Interact Club member who was celebrated and recognized for their unwavering dedication to service. Your commitment to our community does not go unnoticed and truly speaks louder than words.

We are beyond grateful for the beautifully gifted frame capturing our shared outreach moments. It now holds a permanent place in our headquarters as a reminder of what community looks like in action.

To every senior Interact student, we celebrate you and cannot wait to see the impact you continue to make. To the incoming presidents and board, the future is bright and in great hands!
