Join composers from the Abundant Silence roster as they share performance recordings and insights into their creative work and process. The theme for this event is Inspired by Nature, (check out Nathan Hall's Exploring Nature at the Piano learning activity in our online community). Following the presentation of each piece (introduction by composer and video recording), the composers will engage in a discussion about the ways they integration nature into their music composition, and answer your questions about the creative process!

Composers and pieces will include:

Check it out! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sm9ws0965jI Guests Dr. Arthur Houle and George Litterst make the case for a much needed new standard edition that includes some of Clementi's own later revisions to his Op. 36 Sonatinas. Dr. Houle has published a new critical edition based on these revisions that include obvious attempts at exploring the range of later fortepianos, expanded uses for the damper pedal and other considerations. The new edition is available on TimeWarp's SuperScore app, as well as in hard copy from various vendors.
