🚔 INTRODUCING THE CROSSETT POLICE DEPARTMENT’S OVERDOSE RESPONSE TEAM (ORT)

The Crossett Police Department is proud to introduce Overdose Investigator Jay Scogin and Peer Recovery Specialist Joshua Hamilton as members of our Overdose Response Team (ORT), in partnership with the Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership (ARORP).

Our mission is simple: Connect people who need help to the help they need. 💙

🔹 Officer Jay Scogin investigates overdoses involving drugs or controlled substances to help identify the circumstances surrounding these incidents.

🔹 Joshua Hamilton provides support, education, resources, and assistance to individuals who have experienced an overdose and may need help navigating the road to recovery.

Together, they combine investigative efforts with recovery support to help address the impact of substance use in our community and connect individuals and families with valuable resources.

These positions are grant-funded through this partnership and come at no cost to the Crossett Police Department.

At CPD, our commitment goes beyond responding to emergencies. We are dedicated to serving our community, saving lives, and helping individuals find a path toward recovery.
