A grant was received by the Montgomery Lions Club for $22,929 to help the Clinton Twp. Volunteer Fire Company purchase a new digital sign. Thank you to all the members who helped to make this happen!

Thank you Edna Riddell from speaking at our meeting last evening. Edna is from the Sunny Brook Meadow Therapeutic Riding in Montgomery. Check them out! They do wonderful things for individuals with special needs.

Margie Tobias and Samantha Judson from the Montgomery Public Library updated members on the activities and needs of our public library. Check out their new Play and Grow tools for ages 2-5, the Summer Reading Program, and on August 22 they will be holding an Open Air Book Fair in the Montgomery Park. These are just a few of the things going on! They are also in need of a new roof. Donations are much needed and appreciated. A donation from the Lions Club was made to the library in the amount of $500. If you can help please don't hesitate. Our public library is a fantastic asset to our community.
