VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - Montgomery Lions Club is in need of help. One of our major fundraisers is parking cars at the Ridgemont Motel on Rte 15 in South Williamsport next to Little League. Members of the Montgomery Lions Club and their family members are asked to please contact Jim Wilbur if they can assist, even an hour or two would be greatly appreciated. We start two hours before the first game each day. We end a half an hour before the last game begins. (Days with starting times are listed below.)

Members: The first Little League game tomorrow (Friday, August 21) will be at 9 AM. Please be there at 7 AM to help with parking. We could really use the help so if you’re available, please plan to attend. This is one of our major fundraising activities. 🦁🦁🦁

We will not be parking cars today at Little League due to the heavy rain it’s been decided. It’s in the best interest of everyone that we cancel.

Attention members helping out with Little League car parking, today’s games have been postponed to 3 o’clock, please come at 1 o’clock to help park cars. If we get any further updates, we will post that information. See you at 1 o’clock.

These are just a few of the many things we accomplished this past year. There is a lot not listed. We are a small group, but growing, and helping our community and surrounding area any way we can.

A grant was received by the Montgomery Lions Club for $22,929 to help the Clinton Twp. Volunteer Fire Company purchase a new digital sign. Thank you to all the members who helped to make this happen!

Thank you Edna Riddell from speaking at our meeting last evening. Edna is from the Sunny Brook Meadow Therapeutic Riding in Montgomery. Check them out! They do wonderful things for individuals with special needs.
