🏠💙 WEATHERIZATION WEDNESDAY! 💙🏠

This Wednesday, we’re highlighting the impact of Unity Community Action Council’s Weatherization Assistance Program!

🎥 Weatherization Coordinator Precious Royal sat down with Ms. Ida Pearl Langes of Schley County to hear about her experience after receiving Weatherization services in October 2025.

Through the program, approximately $15,817 in improvements were completed on the home, including:

🔹 HVAC improvements
🔹 Duct sealing
🔹 Range hood
🔹 Smoke alarm
🔹 Insulation
🔹 Plumbing leak repair

These improvements are about more than energy savings—they help create safer, healthier, more comfortable, and energy-efficient homes for the families we serve.

This morning, Unity Community Action Council, Inc. had the opportunity to attend the Student Resource Fair at South Georgia Technical College!

We enjoyed connecting with students and sharing information about resources available through our CSBG Program, including educational supplies assistance, as well as information about our Weatherization Program and career opportunities. Our goal is to connect students with valuable resources and opportunities that can benefit them as they continue working toward their educational and career goals. ❤️

We are proud to continue connecting our communities with resources that help individuals succeed! 🌟

THANK YOU, GREAT 8 SHERIFF ROUNDUP DONORS!
What an incredible event! We are grateful for every donation, every share, every encouraging word, and every act of support that helped bail out our sheriffs during the Great 8 Sheriff Roundup.
Because of your generosity, this fundraiser was a tremendous success and a fun-filled day that brought our communities together in support of a great cause. Your contributions helped turn friendly competition into meaningful impact throughout West Central Georgia.
To all of our donors, sponsors, volunteers, community partners, and supporters, THANK YOU for helping make this event such an awesome experience. We could not have done it without you!
