🎉📖 Calling All Monrovia Cooks & Bakers! 🍪🥘🥧

Do you have a recipe everyone asks for? A family favorite that’s been passed down for generations? A signature dish that always disappears first at gatherings?

Now’s your chance to be part of the Monrovia Festival Hometown Cookbook!

We’re collecting recipes from our community to create a cookbook that celebrates the flavors, traditions, and memories that make Monrovia special. The cookbook will be available for purchase during the Monrovia Festival, September 11–13!

We are still looking for recipes to add to our community cookbook! Cookbooks will be available to purchase at the Monrovia Festival September 11-13!

We have some great recipes already, but need your help filling up the book!

As we continue planning community events, we welcome anyone interested in learning more about what we do.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice gave us the freedoms we enjoy each day and the opportunity to gather together as a community.

As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we also take a moment to reflect with gratitude for those who never made it home.

From all of us at the Monrovia Festival & Community Association, we thank and remember our fallen heroes and the families who carry their legacy forward each day. 🇺🇸

It’s been a few weeks since we shared some Festival flashback photos, so today we’re stepping back to 1989! 🎡✨

These photos capture the Host & Hostess Dinner from the 1989 Monrovia Festival — a special tradition that brought together so many dedicated volunteers, community leaders, and supporters who helped make the festival possible year after year.

Looking back at these memories reminds us how much heart and community spirit have always been part of the festival. From familiar faces to memories shared around the table, these moments are a wonderful reminder of the people who helped build the traditions we still celebrate today.

Join us for our Father & Son Super Hero Training on Saturday, June 27th from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM for an afternoon filled with fun, teamwork, laughter, and heroic memories together!

This special event is designed to celebrate the bond between fathers and sons through exciting activities and hands-on fun while building memories that will last long after the capes come off. 💥

Whether you are ready to train like a hero, complete challenges together, or simply enjoy quality time, we would love to see you there!
