Monee Historical Society Help us discover, record and preserve the history of Monee. Open every Tuesday from 10 am - 3 pm. Saturday- once a month 10 am - 3 pm.

As the original mission of the Save the Monee Creamery Foundation has been achieved - the Creamery is not in any current danger of demolition - the group decided to broaden its scope to include future use of the Creamery building as a focal point for Village activity and appreciation of our heritage.

We need photos of Monee-Manhattan Road between Governors Highway and Ridgeland. We (somehow) do not have ANY photos of that stretch of road! Any time is welcome! There has been so much change in that stretch and we have no photographic evidence in our archives at all.

Indoor photos would be great too. We have some class photos, but could use more; we'll post a listing of those we have at a later date.
