Good morning, church! It's a wonderful day to join our voices in praise and thanksgiving to God together!

Today is the Third Sunday after Pentecost and also our Juneteenth Worship & Community Luncheon!
Join us as we celebrate the ways in which we've come this far by faith and commit ourselves to doing what's necessary to continue moving forward in freedom and liberation. We'll hear about Jesus' sending of the disciples and we'll talk bout the ways we're called to share and spread God's good news of healing and freedom with a world that is in desperate need to hear it.

And afterward join us for a wonderful free community lunch!

Good morning, church! It's a fantastic day to praise God together!

This morning, we begin the long green Season after Pentecost. We'll be in this extended season of growth and renewal throughout the summer and most of the fall. This morning, on the Second Sunday after Pentecost, we'll hear about a woman who's been afflicted for many years, who trusts in Jesus' promises of abundant life, and who reaches out to receive the blessing she believes she needs from Jesus. We'll talk about our own lives of faith and the kind of trust to believe that God will indeed provide what we need.

Today we're celebrating the Holy Trinity Sunday and the great mystery of God who is both three and one. As the Trinity is less of a doctrine to be understood and more of way to experience how God operates in relationship, we'll allow space for ourselves to enter into that mystery as well this morning.
