Older adults want to learn about AI. They want to understand how to use it safely—and discover practical, “fit for use” ways AI can make everyday life easier.

Last week, 130 older adults joined Senior Community Services, OpenAI Academy and Senior Planet for the Older Adults AI Jam, joining more than 1,000 older adults participating nationwide.

Participants explored practical ways to use AI and shared what they learned—from planning a trip and creating a family tree, to organizing photos and designing a new living room.

We’re proud to work with OpenAI and Adults Technology Services from AARP to help older adults build the knowledge and confidence to make AI useful in their own lives.

One last THANK YOU to all our spring & summer yard clean-up volunteers! Many of our clients can't pull weeds, sweep walkways, or put out lawn furniture themselves anymore. We believe that shouldn't mean they can't have pride in and continue to live independently in their homes. Every group that lends a few hours makes a HUGE different in the lives of their older neighbors!
