MN Recovers is a recovery support organization (RSO) that honors all pathways to recovery. We believe that all people should be treated with dignity and respect even if they are still actively using drugs/alcohol or in recovery as defined by the person. We look to assist in further developing of the peer recovery workforce. We will collaborate with privately owned small businesses, large corporati
ons, non-profits, government agencies and all other recovery organizations to provide peer recovery training and continuing education for the peer recovery workforce. We believe peer recovery specialists should be integrated into all areas of society where substance use/misuse can and does occur. MN Recovers believes that all people are the expert of their own lived experience and should have the support needed to reach their full potential regardless of s*x, gender identity, race, ethnicity, religion, age, citizenship status, socioeconomic status, social role, cultural background, or disability status. We will promote, cultivate, and build an organization with an environment where all people feel seen, heard, respected, and understood. We will continue to learn, grow, and explore how to better serve the community with the belief that no one is ever completely culturally component.
