🚀 WE DID IT—LIFTOFF! WAS FULLY FUNDED!

Thanks to the generosity of our neighbors, friends and supporters, we raised the full $5,000 needed to make LIFTOFF!happen at Brackett Park.

And what a launch it was!

Hundreds (some some a thousand +) of us came together to celebrate the iconic Brackett Park rocket. The event was filled with joy, curiosity and community spirit—and the response has been nothing short of stellar. We heard so many wonderful reviews, and many of you have already asked us to make LIFTOFF! an annual tradition.

Most inspiring of all was seeing so many young people gathered around the rocket, watching with wonder and imagining what’s possible.

To everyone who donated, volunteered, attended, spread the word or helped make the event shine: ✨thank you✨. You helped bring this celebration to life.

LIFTOFF! showed us what happens when a community comes together.

And now, we’re ready for the next chapter: permanent lighting for the Brackett Park rocket. More soon! 🚀

🚀 LIFTOFF! was something special.

We’ve heard from so many of you about how much you loved the evening—the surprises, the art, the music, the rocket, the bubbles, and most of all, the simple joy of being together.

We’re still smiling. (You might even say 🌟glowing🌟.)

And we’re also almost at our fundraising goal. Just $62 (as of 9/19) to go.

Reaching this goal means we pay a range of amazing artistic folks well for their work. That matters to us. We want 36th ART to be a place where artists are valued, neighbors have a good time, and creative ideas can actually happen.

So, in honor of a fantastic evening of enjoyment, surprise and good gathering, would you help us cross the finish line?

$5, $10, $25—or whatever feels right. $40 or more gets you a black Rocket Boosters t-shirt. (Comment below and we'll coordinate.)

If you enjoyed LIFTOFF, it's is a lovely way to say I want more of this.

Please use our GoFundMe, which we are grateful The Longfellow Community Council helps us manage. 🚀 Let’s get there together.
