10/14/26 We had another busy meeting tonight! The first group of speakers were from Tri-County Technical Center in Dexter. Teacher, Stephany Perkins, spoke about an upcoming trip for a group of 15 students in the Natural Resource Program to Costa Rica. The two students who spoke to us are from PVHS and are Key Club members. They are VERY excited to go to Costa Rica to learn about the flora and fauna. They were asking for help with the expense to do this great opportunity during February vacation.
The next speaker was Manda Stewart from PACC in Dover Foxcroft. She would love for us to restart our funding to help with swimming lessons at PACC. She emphasized how important it is for kids to learn about water safety and how to swim.
