💧💦💧🚰💧💦Millville is still out of compliance with unhealthy water mains. Many transite (asbestos & concrete), lead & unidentified pipes are delivering water to our homes, schools & businesses. 10 years ago the state ordered Millville to identify and replace them ALL & the deadline has passed & there is still not even a plan. How many people have to risk lead & asbestos exposure before something is done? Are we trying to be the next FLINT MICHIGAN?❓

👷👷‍♀️👷‍♂️Resolution 11 A Non-Fair And Open Contract Awarding Special Engineering Contract Agreement With Re*****on And Vernick Engineers For Engineering Services In Support Of Various I-Bank Funded Infrastructure Projects
💲533,735.00‼️📋❓Millville already has a special engineering contract with another company. Why are we not using them? Why not send this project out to bid?
We’re facing a 12.1¢ tax increase & wiped out our surplus. Shouldn’t the commission look at every option before handing an ADDITIONAL 💲533,735.00❓❓❓

This is the last work session before the final passing of the budget. Let’s see if they actually discuss anything about the 12.1¢ increase and wiping out the surplus.

5/15/26 Work Session
The city was unable to broadcast this meeting. The quality is poor but it’s the best available at this time.
No mention if there will be an increase in the taxes. We’ll have to wait until the Tuesday meeting for the answer.
