Congress is considering legislation that would expand some veterans' programs by changing disability ratings for tinnitus and obstructive sleep apnea.

According to VA estimates, those changes could affect up to 1.5 million veterans and reduce disability compensation by approximately $57 billion over the next 10 years.

Veterans should not pay for veterans' benefits.

It was our distinct honor to celebrate the life of our shipmate, William Joseph Maillet, today at the Post. We are deeply grateful to his family for entrusting us with the privilege of paying tribute to his life, service, and legacy as we helped provide a dignified farewell.
