We are beyond thrilled to have 3 horses (Barfly, Hope and Loki) and a donkey that came from us be front and center at Chasing Chances Rescue/Healing Hearts therapy program. We are so happy that we could help Alex in her incredible journey to saved one horse and one person at a time. She's an incredible lady. So blessed to call her my friend. ♥️

After weeks and weeks of waiting, vet stuff, paperwork, anticipation and a long drive, THE BABIES ARE HOME!! It was a long, hot trip but the babies are doing well thanks to the exceptional care Daphne Shumate and her incredible family gave them prior to the trip home. Daphne is one of our amazing board members and who jumped right in with the offer help. The babies were skinny little disasters until they got safely to the Shumate's ranch. John and Daphne went above and beyond with their care to get the babies healthy enough to travel. Village, please give them a huge thank you! We couldn't have done this without them♥️! Next step for these little ones is lots of rest and tons of good groceries while we teach them that being a tame horse is a good thing. It's going to be a long road but I know we'll get them there.
