The mission and objective of Network of Executive Women has remained unchanged since our founding in 1979. Watch for posts about location.

There is a need for an organization that gives women the opportunity to share resources, discuss problems, objectives and make business contacts." ..Phyllis Holt, Founder - 1979 Our goal is to address the common interests of women in the business community and to help all of us grow and prosper as women in business. Network of Executive Women is also dedicated to providing educational opportunities for women in need of financial assistance by awarding annual scholarships to be applied toward tuition and/or books. These scholarships are funded through Network sponsored events, member participation and private donations. Membership is limited in the by laws to women in management, professionals and entrepreneurs who are involved in decision and policy making for their respective companies. (Please refer to our membership page for more information.) If you believe you meet our membership criteria, we welcome your participation! Regularly scheduled luncheon meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month. Our luncheon meetings begin at 12:15 pm, with speakers or programs from 1:00 to 1:30 pm. Non-members are welcome to attend Network luncheons as a guest [non-member] a maximum of 2 times, after which they must become a member in order to attend. Special events are also held periodically throughout the year, as well as an annual fundraiser for our scholarship program.

Scholarship Spotlight 🌟

We love hearing updates from our scholarship recipients and Sam Cawley's latest news had us cheering!

Sam had quite the summer. She got married and was taking classes right up until the day before her wedding. That kind of dedication says everything about who she is.

Last semester Sam earned a 4.0 and was named to the President's List. She just started her fall semester at Southern Connecticut State University, is on track to graduate with her bachelor's degree in Psychology this May, and has already applied to graduate school with hopes of starting her MSW program next year. She is also exploring internship opportunities for the spring, which she says has opened up so many exciting possibilities.

In Sam's own words: "The scholarship has truly made a difference for me and has allowed me to focus on finishing my degree and preparing for what comes next. Thank you again!"

Sam, we are so incredibly proud of you. This is exactly why we do what we do.

What a wonderful October Luncheon yesterday! Sometimes the best moments happen unexpectedly and today was a perfect example of that.

While we look forward to welcoming Cathy Bradley back in January for her full presentation on "No" is Not a Barrier to Growth, she graciously took a few minutes today to speak about her experience as a woman working in male dominated fields. The conversation she sparked in that room was real, honest, and exactly what NEW is all about.

Cathy also shared that she is a breast cancer survivor, which made what happened next even more special. She invited new member Kelsey Robinette, Senior Director of The Get In Touch Foundation, to take the floor in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Kelsey shared the powerful work the foundation is doing around breast cancer awareness and early detection and had every woman in the room paying attention. We are so grateful she was there.

We also had the honor of swearing in some new members today. Welcome to NEW, ladies. You are going to love it here!
