Anyone who is interested in applying for a grant from the Milford Cultural Council OR any other local cultural council can attend! This webinar will walk you through the application process.

APPLY NOW! The application process for grants funding community-oriented programming in the arts, humanities, and sciences is now open! Applicants can apply for grants to fund projects and events completed between July 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027.

We will prioritize proposals in the visual arts (including public art and instruction), music, performing arts, the sciences, and youth participation in creative cultural activities. In addition, the council will favor proposals that are well researched and documented, primarily benefit Milford residents, serve a large portion of the community, recognize Milford’s cultural diversity, and do not rely totally on funding from the MCC.

Applicants can apply by registering and entering their proposal online at MassCulturalCouncil.SmartSimple.com.

DON'T DELAY! The deadline to complete your application is midnight on Thursday, October 15.

JOIN US! Get involved and be a part of Milford's vibrant cultural community! The Milford Cultural Council is looking for passionate, civic-minded residents to join our committee.

We are seeking new volunteers to help support and promote the arts, humanities, and sciences in Milford. As a council member, you’ll help guide the distribution of grant funding to local artists, schools, and organizations, as well as help shepherd public art projects and participation in community events.

HOW TO APPLY
Fill out the Talent Bank Application (https://www.milfordma.gov/Search?searchPhrase=talent%20bank&pageNumber=1&perPage=10&departmentId=-1 -38417ce4113ce69a5e82712397bec96f3f968eb6e6350872bfa8cd36b61e68f9), then submit it to the Town Administrator’s Office at Milford Town Hall (52 Main Street).

You can drop it off in person, leave it in one of the drop boxes, or email it to [email protected].

The Cultural Council will review applications and submit recommendations to the Select Board for final appointments.

DETAILS
The council meets monthly on the third Tuesday at 7:00 PM in Room 14 at Town Hall. Members serve 3-year terms, renewable once. The council may include up to 13 members.
