CALL TO ARTISTS! Now seeking artists to submit designs and paint three picnic tables in a patriotic theme to commemorate America 250! Each winning artist will be awarded a $500 stipend.

The Milford Cultural Council is excited to be partnering with the Italian American World War Veterans of the U.S. Post 40 (ITAM) to bring these artistically painted tables to the pavilion at Milford's ITAM Veterans Hall, just steps off the Upper Charles Trail at 4 Hayward Field, in time for Labor Day.

Student, amateur, and professional artists are invited to submit designs for this addition to the Milford Cultural Council's BRUSH TO TABLE public art project.

FAMILY NIGHT AT THE BANDSTAND returns to Milford Town Park on Tuesday, July 7! Meet your friends and neighbors each Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. throughout the summer for FREE live music. This beloved music series is in its 31st season and brought to the community by Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra. Milford Town Park is located at the corner of Congress & Walnut Streets, steps from the Milford Town Library.

NEXT WEEKEND! The Milford Performing Arts Center presents: "CHICAGO: Teen Edition" featuring the talents of young performers from the greater Milford, Hopedale, Hopkinton, Mendon-Upton area. Shows are June 19 at 7:00 p.m., June 20 at 2:00 p.m., and June 21 at 2:00 p.m. All performances at Milford, MA Public Schools High School. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students/seniors.

COMING SOON! 🦋🦋🦋 Here's a sneak peek at one of the Milford Cultural Council's original BRUSH TO TABLE projects that is being given a second life with a new top!

We installed our first round of artist-painted picnic tables in Milford's parks back in 2021. From time to time, one of the tables experiences more damage than can be repaired. With the original artist's permission, our friends in the Milford Parks Department replaced the top boards and council members painted a stunning array of butterflies on the new top! Once the final coats of varnish have dried, this table will once again grace our parks.
