Who's Behind Novi? 👀

Just a second ago, this table was empty.
Then teams from Ukraine, Norway, and the United States came together. To talk, plan, laugh, and build something meaningful for children and communities.

And this is only the beginning.

One night in Kyiv.

Just after midnight, the air raid siren sounded, and the Novi team had to seek shelter in the hotel's bomb shelter.

A few hours later, the city woke up and life carried on.

For us, it was one night. For millions of families living with war and conflict, this is their reality, night after night.

For children, the impact goes far beyond the sirens and the shelters. It lives on inside them as anxiety, fear, uncertainty, and the loss of safety that every child deserves.

This is why Novi is here ❤️

Today is the birthday of our fearless Ukrainian team leader, Sasha🎉🎈Sasha seems to hold everything together, our team, our van, our partners, our programs, and, remarkably, his great mood. He makes us laugh, want to do our best, and introduces us to Ukrainian cuisine and culture, and has an amazing ability to be in control of everything. We are pretty blessed to have him on our team. Happy birthday, 💙💛
