Remember the kitty who has labored breathing? She still has labored breathing. We haven't figured the breathing out yet. She wouldn't let us give her meds and she's been super restless and protective. Being so small and sick, we suspected she might be pregnant but it wasn't easy to tell. Well she blessed us with 3 lil peanuts over night. Any help is appreciated.

This is Fred, or at least what I have called him for I think is 10 years. I watched him first from across the street from my house. He was with another cat which looked like a Siamese. Where I live is very animal friendly. We all care for animals that show up in our area. My most important part is TNR for the cats in my part of town. This is the beginning of how and why DUMPED STRAY ANIMAL RESCUE started.
Fred would show up in the years eat and go. In the last few years he would show up more often but something was different. He had a difficult time walking but was able to climb the stairs at night to eat on my front porch.
The last 2 years I would see him all around our blocks .
Last year he was independent but slower. I attempted to trap him but disappear if he thought I was after him.
In April he simply was no longer around our blocks. Our neighbor asked my husband had we seen Fred we all thought he lost his struggle to live.
Then Thursday morning another person in my area of town about a poor skinny orange cat having a difficult time walking.
I hoped it was him. I went to where this cat was last seen. It’s raining a can of tuna and blanket in hand. I didn’t know or how this would play out.
Going behind houses yelling “Fred” I’m about to cross the street to search for him and I see him.
I yell Fred he looks straight at me and you can see he is very afraid.
He starts trying to cross the street when I’m in the middle of the street. He can barely walk, I rush over to him open the can of tuna “ here baby” he dives into the can. I take the blanket cover him scruff his neck circling the blanket around tightly afraid he would still try to run.
Fred surrendered no more fight in him.
I felt he was relieved he spent his first night safe warm.
Friday he went to the vet. X-ray showed a very old pelvic fracture.
We really have no funds for another injured cat let alone feed another cat. Thankfully funds were raised to have him seen and cared for
I don’t know how or why he lived on the streets. I do know at one time he had someone who cared for him.
He is now a resident of Randall’s Place.
The rescue is struggling like so many in our area.
We feed many of the cats abandoned in our town.
We need the community to help us. Cat food is desperately needed for the community cats and for the cats at Randall’s Place.

Thought we might do an adoption event but then we discovered a mishap at the cat room and Misty will be spending her afternoon cleaning that issues up but fill out an application for adoption and she will reach out to make it happen. Here's our current chitlins. Dumpedstrayanimalrescueinc.org

Meet Boho and Sprinkles they were surrendered to us because the breeder couldn’t keep them any longer
We gladly open our hearts to them.
But they also came in with issues. Both needed to be neutered vaccinated and test, which we already completed
Boho has some sort of skin /allergy issue needs to see an allergist. Also their diet wasn’t the best and still trying figure that out
Friday Boho was gagging vomited, I thought fur ball issue nope pancreatitis.
Our sweet Boho was at vet office the entire weekend. Still trying figure out a good diet which also be part of the allergy problem. The allergist recommended is at guardian in Brewster.
We are not sure of the cost but recommended to have $2000 available.
Sprinkles is absolutely the sweetest boy but he came to us with bilateral lower Entropion. His lower eyelids curl into his eyes. It very uncomfortable and needs his eyes cleaned to remove the discharge and antibiotic drops applied daily.
Without the surgery he will be in severe pain and possibly go blind.
We were fortunate enough that AMC to the Rescue has granted the surgery and he goes 8/17 for his pre surgical appointment.
With this grant the surgery will cost $299.00
Which usually cost $5000 and up.
We also pay for the pre surgery appointment
So we’re again are asking for your help

This is chub chub in her prime. I would get calls about when she would have the babies.
Never she is just fat
Last night I helped her cross over
She was tired but still to the end with strangers she let them know she wasn’t having it.
I picked her up all the time gave her own private space to feel comfortable
Shaved her when matted but this year she had enough
I didn’t want her to go it was the best for her
Feral cats do trust and love in there way
She was sweet quirky and again my heart hurts

We can't seem to catch a break. We're desperately trying to catch up, and we've had quite a few medical needs to pop up. This is Mystery. She was adopted two years ago and came back a couple of months ago as her adopter passed away. She started keeping her tongue out and I noticed the smell. Upon further examination, I learned that she needs a dental. Unfortunately our funds are low right now. If you could, please help us get her a dental. Thank you
