Lakota East Marching Band Families! Here’s a reminder of things that need to be taken care of during the month of June! Check your email, ParentSquare, or the BAND app for links to forms.
- Band Camp Medication Drop-Off THIS Friday, June 12 from 4:00-6:30pm in the East Band Room. These are only for medications required during camp that are medically necessary and for emergencies only. Medication must be dropped off by a parent/guardian.
- Grand Nationals Trip Registration with Gateway, our Travel Agent. Registration and deposit needs to taken care of as soon as possible!
- Marching Band Consumables Order. EVERYONE must complete an order, due by July 1st

As Week 3 of Marching Band Spring Training gets underway, it’s the perfect time to unveil our 2026 show, Between 1 and 0!

This season’s theme explores the digital world that shapes our daily lives, built around the binary symbols 1 and 0 that drive the digital systems we rely on every day.

We’re excited to begin the journey of bringing this show to life and sharing it with our students, families, and community!

As the school year comes to a close, we are celebrating our graduating senior band members from the Class of 2026! SENIOR PARENTS!! The Senior Picnic is THIS SUNDAY (May 17) from 1:00-3:00 PM! We’re excited for our seniors to spend one final band event together with their classmates and directors in a fun, laid-back setting.

At this time, we are looking for a few food donations that can be sent along with your senior to the picnic. Please check the Band app for the sign-up link.

Thank you for all of your support throughout your student’s band journey at Lakota East. We’re looking forward to celebrating this special group of seniors!

Join us for the Freshman Spring Band Concert on Wednesday, May 13, at 7:00 PM at the Freshman Campus! Our students have been working hard this spring and are looking forward to sharing what they’ve prepared. It’ll be a great evening of music! We hope to see you there!
