Hey All! We’re starting 2025 off with some news about our biggest recent change. We faced challenges throughout the course of the last 5 years that led to the closure of a business that was a complete drain of our time and finances. This detracted so much time from what we enjoy the most. Our family.

The completion of this park project was something we were committed to and welcomed regardless of personal obstacles. It was fitting to bring this all to a close in 2024.

Our priorities have been to find resources for our beautiful, fun loving, autistic daughter in an area where schools welcome her with open,caring, and encouraging arms.

Heartbreaking is a word Michelle and I have used over and over to describe walking away from things that were not good for us. Leaving a dream turned nightmare business to moving across the country in search of a fresh start. Lots of prayers were said and tears were cried in 2024. I had to be reminded that my family was my original dream and everything, literally everything else was a distant 2nd or 3rd.

I’ve always believed that everything you’ve experienced or everyone you have met has led you to where you currently are today. Even the hard stuff. While we are finally starting to feel some relief. We do have the scars of the last 5 years. GOD has kept our family safe, intact, and stronger. I sometimes can’t comprehend still how amazing that is.

We leave behind St.James, MO in 2024 and welcome, New experiences, New challenges, New goals, and of course New failures in our New future. Our address has been updated on this profile and we plan to continue the mission that was placed on our hearts by our angel in heaven Kaylor Katherine Boulware.

Hey all! The Playground is so close to the finish line. We have a couple of safety related items to take care of.
In the mean time we need (a) or some sponsors for a fence. The "Inclusive" aspect is to keep children safe and give parents a little piece of mind as children, especially those on the spectrum have elopement tendencies. Having a lake close by of course is a huge factor as well as our geese population.

We are in need of fencing quotes as well. Please Tag whoever you know and they can message me here or on my cell. Thanks!

St.James we are close to the end of completion of the New All-Inclusive Playground and we need some help on this! The final tally and a few extra needed items have left us with a shortfall on our budget. This is the final week where we will be able to fundraise for this project as payment will be required upon completion. If you can help with $1,000, $100, or even $10 it would be appreciated. Just think if 1,000 people donated $10 = $10,000! There’s power in numbers! Please share, donate, and ask others as well! Thank you in advance!

If you know Dr. Greg Edwards you know that he's an avid supporter of small businesses and causes in our community. Greg has been a key and incredible member of the Kaylor Katherine Foundation. He has been here since the inception and planning of the new playground in St.James. He always has a positive attitude and you can count on him to follow through. Always.

The best part though is that he's a devoted father, husband, son, and friend. Today is my friend's 34th Birthday. Wish him a happy one with me.

We know it's a rainy day, but we wanted to share our progress and latest donation news!
A very special thank you to Mary Paschke and the St. James MO Kiwanis Club for making donations to the new playground in St.James! They both were chosen as the "Children's Champion"! Construction is underway! It looks like the beautiful weather is working in our favor! Remember we still need Help on this project! Excavation work has begun for the new All-Inclusive Playground at St. James Park. Demolition of the 1960s restrooms will also begin today. We are excited about the improvements happening in the Park. We will post updates on the project as things progress.

Can you believe this?! We are finally here! We picked up and carried this project three years ago, and this has absolutely been the most fulfilling part to date!

This is "Phase One" of a "Three Phase" project that we have planned. Phase Two would add additional equipment, with Phase Three bringing a "Free" to use Splash park to St.James. If you have visited Sullivan, Salem, or Steelville, you would be able to see the impact it has for local families looking for free/cheap things to do over the summer.

We are so close and we need your help to push this across the finish line. With our population of 4,200. If everyone donated $10 that would finish this project and fund 20% of the next phase. We need your help! Share this with your friends and family. Ask them to consider sending over a small, but very important donation. This whole project has been privately funded and this is the most return you will see that goes directly to families of St.James. Thank you! -Joe
