2nd Annual Knowman Learning Camp & Retreat
LABOR DAY WEEKEND
September 4-6, 2026

Assalāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh.

We are excited to announce that we are only one month away from our 2nd Annual Knowman Learning Camp & Retreat.

As Muslims, we understand the importance of disconnecting from the distractions of this world in order to reconnect with the Creator of all worlds. This concept is deeply rooted within our tradition. Every day, we disconnect through our five daily prayers. Every year, on a larger scale, we disconnect during the blessed month of Ramadan.

Our upcoming Camp & Retreat is built upon this very idea. We will spend a weekend in a setting surrounded by the beautiful creation of Allah, limiting the distractions of our day-to-day lives so that we can focus on our relationship with Allah ta’ālā, strengthen our īmān, reflect upon His blessings, and benefit from meaningful companionship, learning, and worship.

The retreat is now only one month away, and our Early Bird Registration will remain open until the end of this weekend (Sunday 8/9)* After that, registration will return to its regular price.

Registering early greatly assists us in planning accommodations, activities, meals, and all of the logistics needed to make this retreat as memorable as possible, inshā’Allāh.

Please save the dates, make your best effort to attend, and, if possible, register at your earliest convenience. We would love for you and your family to be part of this special weekend together.

We ask Allah ta’ālā to open the way for all of us to disconnect from that which is temporary and distracting in order to reconnect with that which is everlasting and meaningful. May He make this retreat a source of guidance, growth, and barakah for everyone who attends, for our families, our community, and all those involved.

PROPHETIC VITALITY

Alhamdulillah, through the grace of Allah, we have a beautiful program lined up for this week inshā’Allāh.

Through the unique and specialized backgrounds of our speakers, we will be discussing the importance of our physical health through diet and exercise, and how that impacts us both spiritually and psychologically.

We will examine topics such as Prophetic nutrition and how what we eat contributes to our spiritual well-being, the gut–brain axis which will highlight how what we eat impacts how we think, and the relationship between consumption and the nafs.
