Assalāmu ‘alaykum.

The Jannah Garden is a mentorship program for Muslim girls ages 4 to 18 — and their mothers. Girls are grouped into four tiers: Blossoms (4–6), Lilies (7–11), Palms (12–18), and Roots, the mothers. Every girl is held by the one above her and holds the one below her, so no one is only receiving and no one is only giving.

This term is All About Salah — one subject, taught through mentorship, each tier at her own depth. The Blossoms learn the how. The Lilies begin to ask why. The Palms go deep and learn to keep their salah anywhere. The Roots are taught first, so every mother can carry it home.

al-Zarnūjī's* text *Ta'īm al-Muta'allim* (translated as The Art of Learning) as the foundation for a structured and focused series of lectures inshã'Allāh.
We hope to provide families with an English translation of the text so that everyone can follow along and benefit.

Alhamdulillah, through the grace of Allah, we have a beautiful program lined up for this week inshā’Allāh.

Through the unique and specialized backgrounds of our speakers, we will be discussing the importance of our physical health through diet and exercise, and how that impacts us both spiritually and psychologically.

We will examine topics such as Prophetic nutrition and how what we eat contributes to our spiritual well-being, the gut–brain axis which will highlight how what we eat impacts how we think, and the relationship between consumption and the nafs.
