Little Book Boxes at Pierce Playground and Pratt Farm filled today with a little help from Little Will and our Club President, Matthew (not pictured since he's behind the camera). Great job!! And thank you!!

Thank you to Madison York from Middleboro for donating a box of kids books 📚📚 for us to use in our Little Book Boxes around town! There's enough there to restock at least one of them, which should make those who frequent them very happy. Unfortunately I didn't get a photo of the donation, so here's a photo of one of our Little Book Boxes at Pierce Playground.

Each year, we select outstanding high school students based not only on academic achievement, but also on their commitment to community service, involvement in school and extracurricular programs, and a personal essay reflecting their goals and values.

The students and their families were welcomed for a celebratory dinner at the Fireside Grille, where each recipient shared their intended majors and future plans. Rotarians offered a mix of humorous and heartfelt reflections from their own college days, along with words of encouragement as the students prepare for the next chapter of their lives.

The evening closed with warm congratulations and best wishes to the scholarship honorees Colin Cyr, Grace Schwartz, Natalie Corey and Ryan Penney, pictured below with Club President Matthew Bruce, and Scholarship Committee members Sue Okolita and Marjorie Dunn-Lackie. Their accomplishments and character embody Rotary’s commitment to service and leadership.
