KARL urgently needs a rescue commitment by 5 PM TODAY, August 19. 💔

Karl is currently being treated by shelter veterinary staff for a urinary blockage and needs specialized surgery, including a cystotomy and prescrotal urethrostomy.

Because of the extent of medical care he needs, Miami-Dade Animal Services is urgently seeking rescue placement so Karl can continue receiving treatment.

Staff have noticed this sweet little girl spending much of her time sleeping and appearing very sad. She also seems to have difficulty seeing and is overweight, meaning she needs a loving home where she can receive the medical care and comfort she deserves.

Veterinarians believe Mia may need additional testing to rule out an underlying metabolic condition, along with a healthy diet and follow-up care.

The shelter reports that Claudette was already frightened when she was found, and the shelter environment has only made things harder for her.

She needs someone who understands that a fearful dog cannot be rushed.
