Abraham Foundation, geared towards helping many of the 300,000 displaced people in Lebanon get back to their homes. The August 4th explosion turned Beirut’s port area and surroundings into rubble, displacing over 300,000 people. Buildings, once the heart of this lively city are empty, desolate, with their windows blasted inwards, tables upended, and furniture destroyed; the view is surreal. Our e

fforts are focused on providing the people of Beirut with the support they need to rebuild their homes.

“Six years ago, an August evening turned to fire. Today, we rise again.

I'm proud to share "Cedar of Ours" — a heartfelt tribute to our beloved homeland. It is a prayer and a promise: for the lives lost on August 4th, for the families still holding the line, and for a Lebanon of dignity, safety, and hope.

Red for the price our people paid. White for the peace we've prayed and prayed. Green for a hope that never dies — one flag, one flame, one Lebanon, one sky.

Let us light a candle for those who won't stand again, and lift our voices for the truth we're owed. On the fourth, together, we say our country's name.

When the road to southern Lebanon is dangerous, some choose to travel it anyway. On June 11, a convoy of 45 trucks led by the Apostolic Nuncio, Archbishop Paolo Borgia, together with Caritas and other Catholic organizations, carried food, medicine, and fuel toward the isolated villages of Debel, Ain Ebel, and Rmeich. Caught in crossfire and forced to reroute, the convoy pressed on — reaching Debel after a ten-hour journey. It was the twentieth such mission to the south since the war began. We share this story because it matters, and because presence, in the darkest moments, is its own form of hope.

As the world’s attention moves on, the needs remain. We echo the call of humanitarian organizations on the ground: do not forget Lebanon.

As the guns fall silent, Lebanon begins the long road home. Hundreds of thousands of families are returning to their towns and villages, yet the needs remain immense — homes, schools, clinics, and livelihoods must be rebuilt. The Help Us Rise Initiative stands with the Lebanese people and with the local organizations working tirelessly on the ground. Recovery is possible when we rise together.

For years, families in Jdeidet El Fekha lived beside a spring they could not fully reach. Two years of drought turned that daily challenge into a threat to their farms and futures.

Today, thanks to SEAL, a new 1.8 km water network connects that spring to the people who need it most.

We're sharing this story because it matters — and because partners like SEAL are doing the quiet, essential work that Lebanon needs right now.

لسنوات، عاشت عائلات في جديدة الفقحا إلى جانب ينبوع لم يتمكنوا من الاستفادة منه. وقد حوّل عامان من الجفاف هذا التحدي اليومي إلى تهديد حقيقي لمزارعهم ومستقبلهم.

اليوم، وبفضل "سيل" من أجل لبنان، يمتد خط مياه جديد بطول 1.8 كيلومتر ليوصل مياه الينبوع إلى من يحتاجها.

نشارككم هذه القصة لأنها مهمة — ولأن شركاء مثل "سيل" يقومون بالعمل الصامت والضروري الذي يحتاجه لبنان اليوم.
