Today, on Yom HaZikaron, we remember Israel’s fallen soldiers and victims of terror—those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the State of Israel and the Jewish people.

This year, as the pain of loss remains so present and so many families continue to grieve, their bravery reminds us all the more of the true cost of freedom.

We honor their lives, their courage, and the legacy they leave behind. May we carry it forward with purpose, unity, and hope.

🇮🇱✡️ Iom Haatzmaut Sameaj – 78 años del Estado de Israel
Hoy, martes 21 de abril, celebramos con profundo orgullo el 78º aniversario de la independencia del Estado de Israel.
Recordamos con emoción aquel viernes 14 de mayo de 1948, cuando David Ben Gurión leyó la Declaración de Independencia en el Museo de Tel Aviv y dio nacimiento al hogar nacional del pueblo judío, concretando el sueño sionista que durante dos milenios acompañó a nuestro pueblo en la diáspora.
Desde entonces, Israel se ha convertido en una nación vibrante: pionera en innovación, ciencia, medicina y tecnología; faro de democracia en Medio Oriente; refugio seguro para el pueblo judío; y ejemplo de resiliencia y espíritu constructivo.
En OSFA-WIZO Argentina, como una de las 38 federaciones que integran la Women's International Zionist Organization, celebramos este día con especial significado. Nuestra labor —sostenida por miles de mujeres comprometidas en todo el país— se traduce cada día en programas que transforman la vida de mujeres, niños y familias en Israel.
En una jornada como hoy, renovamos nuestro compromiso y nuestro amor inquebrantable por el Estado de Israel.
