🌟 Calling All Canyon Rim Community Businesses! 🌟

We're currently seeking business sponsors for the 2026–2027 school year, and we especially need Diamond Level Sponsors!

Why Diamond? Because our PTA proudly provides a spirit shirt to every Canyon Rim student at the beginning of the school year, and Diamond Sponsors receive the unique opportunity to have their business logo featured on those shirts. It's a great way to support our students while gaining visibility throughout our school community.

✨ Exciting things are happening on our playgrounds! ✨

This week, brand new sensory walls were installed on both the kindergarten and preschool playgrounds thanks to funds raised through our Boosterthon fundraiser! These interactive spaces were added for our Cougars, giving them even more opportunities for hands-on play, movement, exploration, and sensory engagement during the school day. 💜🖤

These sensory walls are just one of several playground improvements made possible by the incredible support of our Canyon Rim community. So far, Boosterthon funds have helped us:
⭐ Paint new playground games on the concrete
⭐ Paint a pickleball court on the concrete
⭐ Install new kickball bases
⭐ And now, add sensory walls to our kinder and preschool playgrounds!

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who supported Boosterthon and helped make these additions possible. We also want to give a very special shoutout to our amazing PTA Vice President, who was out there at 4:45 AM this week helping coordinate installation day alongside the installers. That kind of dedication is what makes our community so special! 💜

Thank you for continuing to support opportunities that make Canyon Rim an even more fun, engaging, and welcoming place for our students. 🐾

☀️🎉 LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! 🎉☀️

We made it, Cougars! What an incredible year it’s been 💜🖤 Wishing all of our Canyon Rim families a fun, safe, and relaxing summer filled with sunshine and memories!

⏰ Reminder: Today is a half day — students will be released at 11:55 AM

🎓 6th Grade Families:
Join us for the Clap Out at 11:20 AM as we celebrate our amazing 6th graders! We are so proud of all they’ve accomplished and wish them the very best as they head off to their next adventure 💫

💦 Water Day is Coming! 💦

One of the most fun days of the year is almost here—students absolutely LOVE Water Day!

On Monday, May 18th, students will rotate through stations filled with water games and activities, including inflatable games. It’s a high-energy, hands-on time designed for lots of movement, lots of laughs, and plenty of ways to cool off!

And of course… everyone will get to enjoy a refreshing Otter Pop to help beat the heat. 🍧

Please help your child come prepared:
👕 Wear clothes that can get wet
👟 Wear closed-toe shoes that can get wet (no sandals, please)
🚫 No swimsuits

📌 Important: Students should check with their teachers for instructions on bringing a change of clothes, socks, and shoes to change into for the remainder of their school day.

We’re excited to introduce next year’s PTA Board:

Thank you to these parents for volunteering their time to help support our students, staff, and school community for the upcoming school year!

The PTA is always looking for extra help throughout the year, and everyone is welcome at meetings and events. Whether you want to volunteer regularly or just help when you can, we’d love to have you involved.

One last PTA meeting before summer! 💜🖤

Join us for our final Canyon Rim PTA meeting of the 2025–2026 school year on Tuesday, May 19th at 5:30 PM in the library.

We’ll wrap up an amazing year, celebrate all that our Cougar community accomplished together, and look ahead to what’s coming next. Whether you’ve been involved all year or are just curious about getting more connected, we’d love to see you there!

📚✍️ YEARBOOK SIGNING PARTY IS HERE! 🍕🎉

Join us for a fun-filled evening celebrating an amazing school year! Bring your friends, your appetite, and get ready to sign yearbooks and make memories 💜🖤

🗓 May 15th
📍 Peter Piper Pizza (9047 E Baseline Rd.)
⏰ 4 PM – 8 PM

✨ Important Info:
📘 Pre-ordered yearbooks will be delivered to students in their classrooms earlier that day
🛍 A limited number of yearbooks will be available for purchase at the event for $20 — first come, first served!
☀️ Families can also purchase their Summer Pass that night, and it will count toward our fundraiser 🙌
💸 15% of all purchases that night — including Summer Passes — will go back to Canyon Rim!

Come enjoy pizza, games, and time with friends as we wrap up the year together. We can’t wait to see everyone there! 🎮🍕
