BTBPR also assists Arizona’s retired public safety K9’s with medical needs.

🐾 AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT – Meet Kora! 🐾

Kora is ready to find her forever family!

Born in early May, Kora is one of five puppies rescued from a cemetery in Mexico. Thanks to rescue efforts, three of her siblings have already found loving homes, and Kora is now ONE of only TWO puppies still waiting for her happily-ever-after.

This sweet girl is social, confident, and loves making new friends. She isn’t shy and enjoys spending time with both people and other dogs. Kora is learning all the important puppy skills and is doing wonderfully!

✨ Kora’s accomplishments so far:
🐶 Great with both large and small dogs
🏡 Uses a dog door
🛏️ Kennel trained
🪜 Comfortable using stairs
🐕 Walks on a leash
🚽 Working hard on potty training

Like any young puppy, Kora will need an active family committed to helping her continue to learn, grow, and thrive. She has all the potential to become an amazing companion and is looking for a home that will provide guidance, exercise, structure, and plenty of love as she matures.

💙💙CHECKERS💙💙

Checkers has been in his foster home for far too long and we aren’t really sure why! This sweet boy is so chill and just so well mannered. He is good with dogs, cats and kids!

Please do us a favor and share this post so his family can see his face and know he belongs with them.

Checkers is a little over a year old. His sister was adopted already. He appears to be a heeler mix, but has a very calm demeanor.

Meet Kuma — a playful, snuggly little survivor with a heart full of love. At under 3 months old, Kuma was one of five puppies found abandoned at a cemetery. While three of her siblings have already found their forever families, Kuma is still patiently waiting for a home to call her own.

Her foster mom says:

“Kuma is such a sweet girl and full of playful puppy energy. She loves running around with the big dogs and would do best in a home with another playful four-legged friend. She’s very cuddly and loves curling up to sleep with us at night. She’ll definitely need plenty of chew toys as she grows. She is kennel trained when we leave the house, and potty training is coming along well. We also have a cat that she loves to chase, and she’s learning boundaries every day.”

Kuma is the perfect mix of adventurous and affectionate — one minute she’s zooming around the yard, and the next she’s snuggled up beside you for a nap. She is looking for a loving family that will continue helping her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.

Kuma is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and her adoption includes her future spay and rabies vaccine when she is old enough.

Her adoption fee is $275 to help cover her veterinary care.

The 5 pups made it to Arizona today!!!!

4 girls and 1 boy have started the next step to finding their forever homes!!

Keto is the only boy. Kilo and Kenia are spoken for. The other 3 are in foster homes.

This was a challenge to get them this far and we promised them to see it to the end!

One last ditch effort to find a foster for the two remaining shepherds coming today!!!

3 of them have foster homes. 2 don’t.

They are current on vaccines, dewormed, checked by a vet and tested negative for Heartworm, Lyme, Anaplasma and Ehrlichia.

They are sooooo cute!!!!

Meet Lola – Your Perfect One-and-Only Companion

Born on July 21, 2021, Lola is a beautiful almost 5-year-old French Bulldog with a shiny black coat. She comes from a litter of 7. Mom is blue AKC-and dad is cream-colored (American Canine Association).

Lola is a sweet, gentle soul who thrives best in a calm, one-dog household. While she’s wonderful with kids of all ages, she doesn’t do well in pack environments and truly needs to be the only dog in the home to feel safe and loved.

She’s fully potty trained, kennel trained, and even uses a doggy door. Lola is spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations, to include her allergy shot and in great health.

She has a very docile and submissive temperament, making her an ideal cuddle buddy—but don’t let that fool you! She can be playful too and loves spending time with her people. She likes her toys, fresh veggies and most fruits!

If you or someone you know is looking for a loyal, low-maintenance companion who just wants to be your everything, Lola is ready to meet you.

3 out of the 5 have a foster home lined up!! Who can help us take the remaining two while we search for homes?

They have had two vaccines and tested negative for Heartworm, Lyme, Anaplasma and Ehrlichia.

They will be in Arizona on May 17th. They need a place to go by then!!

Once old enough we will spay and neuter them along with a Rabies vaccine. They will also get a microchip once they arrive.

Who can help with the last two???

Here are the 5 pups needing foster homes. We have 1 foster home lined up for 1 pup. We still need placement for the 4 others or we will NOT be able to help this litter. We have no idea where their mom is A foster in Mexico has been caring for them.

Who can help foster these babies? They have received their 2nd set of vaccines, dewormer and will be getting additional tests done right before they come over.

4 females and 1 male.

Meet Cesar — a resilient, loving pup with a heart as big as his smile. Cesar’s story didn’t start easy. He was found wandering the streets, underweight and searching for his next meal. Thankfully, a kind stranger stepped in and got him to safety, where one of our fosters welcomed him with open arms. Since then, Cesar’s world has completely changed — and he’s embracing every moment of it.

Now safe and cared for, Cesar is thriving in his foster home. He’s gaining healthy weight, discovering the joy of playtime, and soaking up all the love he can get from both his human and doggy companions. He lives with other dogs and does wonderfully, showing a friendly and social personality that makes him a joy to be around.

Cesar is still working on his potty training, but he’s a smart boy and making steady progress every day. With a little consistency and patience, he’ll have it mastered in no time.

As a young pup, Cesar has plenty of energy and a playful spirit. He will do best with an active family who can keep up with his exercise needs and provide him with plenty of physical activity, playtime, and mental stimulation.

He will come fully vetted — neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and with his rabies vaccine — ready to start his next chapter with a forever family.

Cesar is looking for a home where he can continue to grow, feel safe, and be loved the way he deserves.
