The ball just keeps rolling here at Mathis FFA!!
Today we had 8 seniors tour ATS Industrial and they all had fun learning different positions and pathways they can go into as they’re close to stepping into a new chapter in life. They all even had a chance to show off their skills/ help work on a project ATS is currently working on.

Thank you ATS Industrial for having us and showing our students a glimpse of what possibilities they can achieve 💛💙

Eliana, your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed. Over the past month you completed two rigorous phases of officer elections, including multiple interviews and speeches, and absolutely killed it. We could not be more proud to have you represent our chapter at the area level! 🫶🏻

We are now adding “Area X Officer” to our list of “firsts” for Mathis FFA! 🤩

We were honored to host the Coastal Bend District Convention and speaking events yesterday! It was a great day getting to welcome chapters from across the district while also celebrating an amazing year for our own chapter! 💙💛

• Karina Trejo - 3rd Place Extemporaneous Speaking

A bittersweet moment watching Eliana Trejo retire as the District President after an incredible year of service. Watching her lead this district has been something special, and we are beyond proud of everything she accomplished! 🫶🏻

And the BIGGEST congratulations to Lexi Rodriguez on being elected the NEW Coastal Bend District President!! We cannot wait to watch you lead this next year! ✨

From barn to plate, and every step in between 🐖🍽️

This year, our Animal Science students took on the responsibility of raising a hog from start to finish. Juan Zambrano worked day in and day out to care for it, manage nutrition, and understand what it truly takes to produce a quality product.

Once the project reached the next stage, our Culinary students stepped in and prepared and cooked the pork. Bringing the process full circle in a way that most people never get to experience.

This is what hands-on learning looks like. This is what collaboration looks like.

We’re proud to see our programs working together to give students real-world experiences that connect agriculture and food in a meaningful way. 🐷🔥

First year. First cotton team. First trip to state.

And they walked away 36th in the STATE! 🌟

We couldn’t be more proud of this group for stepping out, taking on something new, and representing our chapter so well. This is just the beginning for our cotton team, and we’re excited to see how much they continue to grow 💙💛
