We’re at in Las Vegas this weekend! Come stop by our booth to connect, learn about our work supporting families of missing hikers, and meet the community behind the mission.

And as a bonus — we have signed copies of Trail of the Lost and Ranger Confidential by Andrea Lankford available, or grab both for a $40 donation that helps families of missing hikers.

When I saw an injured hiker needing a ride from Warner Springs to Idyllwild this morning, it seemed like a good way to help out. As I pulled into Warner Springs, I found two more hikers also trying to get to Idyllwild, so the four of us headed up the mountain together, stopping for lunch at Paradise Valley Cafe along the way.

The town is packed for the holiday weekend, but we were able to find one room at the Idyllwild Bunkhouse for the couple, and I brought Bliss back with me. Thanks to Raj for helping with the room at the bunkhouse. - Cathy

Today, on Mother’s Day, our hearts are with the mothers still searching for answers — and also with the mothers who were finally able to bring their loved ones home.

At the Fowler-O'Sullivan Foundation, we have met many incredible mothers who continue to fight for their missing loved ones with strength, hope, and determination that never fades.

We also think of the families who now have a place to visit, a place to grieve, and a place to remember.

Today we honor them all.
We remember the missing.
And we continue our mission because every hiker deserves to come home.

To all the moms, grandmas, daughters, brothers, and families carrying love for someone missing or gone too soon — we are thinking of you today. ❤️

We want to thank Nomad Ventures for inviting us once again to Idyllwild Trail Days. We had a wonderful time meeting hikers and everyone who stopped by to say hello.
A special thank you to Janet, one of our board members, and Erica (“Ted Talk”), a PCT hiker, for helping throughout the day — you both did a great job.
One of the highlights for us was meeting three winners of this year’s Garmin inReach giveaway for PCT hikers who are currently hiking the trail. To our surprise, they each came up to us individually and shared that they had received one of our devices. Even more special, they were from three different countries — United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada. It was an awarding and memorable moment to see our hiker safety program reaching hikers from around the world.
