A Day of Hope, Resilience, and Remembrance in Israel

Today, our St. Paul Jewish Federation Birthright and Partnership2Gether (P2G) group traveled to southern Israel, volunteering at Kibbutz Ruhama, where they helped with gardening to support the community hosting residents evacuated from Kfar Aza.

The group then visited the Nova Festival memorial site, a powerful and emotional reminder of the lives lost on October 7.

A meaningful day of giving back, remembering, rebuilding and standing together with the people of Israel.

Finally, the group finished with a powerful moment at The Kotel

Shabbat Shalom to all.

Today, we remember. 🕯️

We remember the lives lost on October 7 and hold their families and loved ones in our hearts.

Behind every name was a face. A family. A story. A life filled with people they loved, places they called home, plans for tomorrow, and a future they never got to see.

Tonight, St. Paul Jewish Federation, Beth Jacob Congregation, Mount Zion Temple, Temple of Aaron and the St. Paul JCC will come together as one community in remembrance and prayer.

May their memories be a blessing.
